Rubicode has released version 1.6 of DBEdit. Version 1.6 is built as a
universal binary for use on Intel Macs, fixes problems with Boolean
attributes when running on Tiger, fixes save validation bugs when using
JDBC models, adds saving of modified connection dictionaries in
.DBEditGroup files, fixes problems with CLOB/BLOB prototype attributes,
and runs using JVM 1.4.2 if possible (needed for some JDBC drivers).

Note: The Java 1.5 Cocoa bridge on Tiger does not seem to work with the
Objective-C EOF frameworks at this time, so keep Java Preferences.app
set at 1.4.2 if you want to use DBEdit or EOModeler with JDBC models.

DBEdit is a freeware application for database exploration and
editing based on information in EOModel files. Fetches can be done
for all or qualified rows for a particular entity, and the results
can be sorted, printed, edited, exported to file, and saved back to the
database. Rows can be deleted or added, and relationships can be
followed to display the related rows. A raw SQL window is provided to
execute arbitrary SQL statements (and see the results if any).

DBEdit should work with any EOF/WOF version on MacOS X 10.x,
Windows NT/2000, and OPENSTEP. Screenshots and binaries are
on our web site at:

Feedback can be sent to dbedit at rubicode.com.
